About Me
Hi, I'm Shaefer. Welcome to my data science portfolio! Since 2017, I have used data science to explore my interest in many different fields, including finance, politics, cybersecurity, retail, sports analytics, and even craft beer. Ever since competing in CyberPatriot in high school, I have been obsessed with cybersecurity. My passions for cybersecurity and data science crossed paths and led me to my current role as a cybersecurity data scientist at CrowdStrike, where I use machine learning to strengthen the cyber defense of our customers. When I'm not crunching numbers, I'm likely indulging in one of my many random hobbies, ranging from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to backpacking.
